...My bra sees you.... I despise nosey bras that shouldn't be peeking...oh well! Finally an outfit post! I haven't been able to post any outfits this week and it was truly depressing. Hopefully this is a thing of the past.
In more interesting news I wanted to share with you guys an experience I had this week. Earlier in the week I was contacted by the casting director of a new reality show titled World Fashionista. Let's just say the email was nothing less than flattering as i've never been approached as a "perfect fit" for a reality show before, (ok well I totally mean one that's not raunchy) especially since I didn't apply. I'm not sure if any of you were contacted or heard of this but I did some research and it appears to be very legit. You can click here if you're interested in learning more. The goal of the show is to take ten "fashionistas" from around the world and have them live in a mansion on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten for 4 (or 2 not sure) weeks while completing challenges until the last girl stands. Or something like that. Of course there are prizes including magazine features and cash among others. I must say when I first saw the email it was very intriguing but when I started to research it more I saw that the time frame wouldn't work out for me.
Anyway, long story (already too long) short, I had to turn it down but I stated that I would help get the word out as they are having trouble (because it's a new show) casting the last few spots. I know there must be tons of fashionistas out there dying for an opportunity like this. I mean look at all the fashion blogs. If fashion is the first thing you think about in the morning and the last thing you think about at night, this opportunity is for you. Go get em! =) Wish I could do it! Oh and if you can't do it, encourage your fashionista friends to try. The show will broadcast throughout the US and Caribbean (early 2012) so it's great publicity for anyone truly passionate about this industry but doesn't know where to start. I know I know...yes there is a negative connotation associated with reality shows but if you're truly passionate about fashion....it won't matter. Check it out!
